Statewide Device Loan
An AT Device Loan allows a person to borrow a device for a short period of time to help decide if the device will meet the person’s needs. FAAST operates a statewide device loan program for all Floridians with disabilities.

Public Awareness Activities
FAAST provides public awareness activities through its Information and Referral program. Basically, Information and Referral is the act of providing the public with information on various programs and a means to access those programs. FAAST utilizes a computer database of information on more than 17,000 devices, services, and funding sources. Additional Public Awareness activities include newsletters, presentations, exhibits at conferences and public events, websites, and social media.

AT Exchange (AT List)
FAAST offers an AT Exchange at AT Bay – an online classifieds where you can find new and used AT devices for sale or for free. You can also post AT devices that you no longer need or use. To search our listings or to post an AT device, visit AT List.
AT Device Reuse
Reutilization of Assistive Technology devices gives new life to used Assistive Technology equipment. Reusing AT allows for good, used devices to get into the hands of people who need them.
Alternate Financing and Telework
FAAST operates the New Horizon Loan Program (NHLP). NHLP is a financial loan to help individuals with disabilities or their family members purchase Assistive Technology devices and services needed to enhance independence and/or functioning in the community, education and/or employment.

AT Device Demonstrations
An Assistive Technology Device Demonstration is an opportunity for a person to interact with an AT device, learn about the different features and compare with other similar devices. An AT Device Demo allows a person to make an informed decision about whether the device is the right for his/her needs. AT Device Demonstrations can be held at any of FAAST's Regional Demonstration Centers.

AT Individual Training
FAAST provides training to individuals wanting to know more about specific assistive technology solutions, AT funding options, and other related topics.
AT Group Training
FAAST provides training to groups and organizations wanting to know more about disabilities, assistive technology and other related topics.
Transition Activities
FAAST provides transition assistance to individuals with disabilities. More specifically, FAAST provides support to public or private entities to, develop and disseminate training materials, conduct training, facilitate access to assistive technology, and provide technical assistance, to assist students with disabilities that receive transition services; and adults who are individuals with disabilities maintaining or transitioning to community living.
